Spreading the Language Learning
Freire's quote

Teaching Philosophy
Teaching goes beyond transferring knowledge, it is a permanent construction among all actors, it cannot be done in isolation. Once you become a teacher you commit with your students and with yourself not only regarding content, but also with a lifestyle. The learning process develops only when the teacher motivates students to do so.

Conclusion
" The moment when, after many years of hard work and a long voyage you stand in the centre of your room, house, half-acre, square mile, island, country, knowing at last how you got there, and say, I own this " These Atwood's words resume quite clear what I feel when I see myself walking through the paths of my career and make me think why I wanted to be a teacher, and the answer is not easy, but it comes at last, I love teaching. I enjoy building different thoughts trough discussions, sharing moments, listening to students needs, thinking of new ways to help them, that's it, that is teaching.
The enormous effort and the many hours are about to end to give birth to new things, new paths to visit, it is time to share what I got.

Primary
At this level, the learning-teaching process was a bit easier to carry on regarding children's attention. They need more information, but it is quite easy they distract and start talking about any other thing. However, working with them was a very nice experince since they always participated and collaborated with the class.

Kinder
My experience at this level was quite amusing!!! Kids are great, they always like what you do, but they get bored quickly, so you have to be clear and be prepared to make the classroom environment as motivating as possible.
The school, Colegio Santa Eufrasia is surrounded by art, so it was easy to use songs and drawings to "hook" children's attention.

Myself
I am Dario Bressan from Río Cuarto, Córdoba. I have studied to be a Teacher of English at the UNRC and then at the Lenguas Vivas' institute. I work in a secondary school since seven years, I really love my job!!!
My teaching philosophy has to
do with the possibility of every actor involved in the learning-teaching
process of participating actively. We can no longer think of the teacher as the
center of the classroom or the unique source of knowledge. According to my
view, teacher has to be just the facilitator, the organizer, the person in
charge of arranging the different options students have to learn the subject's
contents. As we can imagine, this is not an easy task, it is a titanic work
which includes many years of a teacher-center view, for instance. Teaching has
to be a common work supported by all the actors surrounding it such as
students, teachers and no less important, family. In Freire's words " There is,
in fact, no teaching without learning. One requires the other." This makes us
responsible for creating the correct environment to this to happen.
Teaching in 21th century is a tremendous
responsibility for every actor, not only because it has always been like this,
but also because it is a special moment where learners tend to have quicker and
more reliable information sources. This obligates the teacher to prepare
himself, to improve her/his technological abilities to meet the expectations of
a complete education. To achieve this, it is necessary to state certain lines
of work.
The creation of a balanced environment where
students may feel confident enough to share their opinions, believes and
thoughts is a good start. Classroom needs to open and interchange among others
subjects, it is quite important to visualize a multi-discipline classroom to
enrich every student mind, the wider the better. The context to achieve this,
everyday life. We need to think of Education in every space of our lives, but
it is extremely necessary to focus on family to restate the main foundations of
our society.
The choice of the Natural Approach to guide my
lesson plans respond to same line of thought, the one which related to the
Natural state of things. In this case, learning a second language in a
communicative environment or situation refers to the everyday life. Students
need to be immerse in a balanced context where they feel comfortable and ready
to enhance their communicative abilities. In this approach, the idea is not to
base the learning process on grammar, but on lexis, not on perfection but on
communication. In my opinion, there is need to "mix" some of the
Freire's ideas such as common education processes in comfortable environments and
this approach to obtain a versatile and balanced way of acquiring a second
language. If we think the way we acquire our mother tongue, Natural approach is
closer to it than any other.
Activities to enhance a natural acquisition of
a second language have to be as communicative, visual, wide and open as
possible. The use of technology is a good idea to "hook" students'
attention. There is a enormous set of possibilities and resources we as
teachers may take advantage from such as videos, songs, listening, interactive sites and the like in order to
improve learners' interest in the learning process.
We are responsible for studying each level we may
be assigned to teach in and to explore every space related to the process. Patience,
motivation, tenderness, temperance and many others characteristics are related
to our profession and it is our responsibility to select and impart each of
them regarding the level or situation necessity.
